All the slop about the DOO WOP HOP

The DOO WOP HOP was held on February 10 at Teddy’s Bar & Grill with the great Lenny Kaye as guest DJ once again! Also, our pal Alex De Laszlo, who often swings 78s at the BIG TEN INCH, was on hand and played some great records out of his vast collection. Host DJ Phast Phreddie the Boogaloo Omnibus was in total awe of the 45s played by these two gentlemen.
Also, it was so good to see so many friendly faces, eating the fine food at Teddy’s and enjoying the fabulous R&B group vocal records played that night.
Lenny Kaye added to the festivities by leaning quite heavily on East Coast grease. The Boog, however, played records from the West Coast, Chicago, Detroit and New Orleans as well as the East.
